What is the recruitment process?

It all starts with a simple phone call to our lovely EST10 team. We will ask you what you are looking for, and help you identify which approach is best for you.

Then, if you are looking for a temp ASAP, we will start the process right then and there. Or, if you want a long-term placement, we will explain our service option as outlined in the question above.

What happens if the Personal Assistant you send does not work out?

We are so confident about our PA recruitment solution that our guarantees far exceed the industry standards.

If you are not completely delighted with your permanent PA placement within their first three months, we will replace the role at no charge.

And if you are even slightly unhappy with your temp placement within their first eight hours, again we will replace them at no cost. That is no cost for the first temp placement and no cost for the replacement temporary’s first day. (That is double the industry standard period.)

In short, we are not happy with the placement unless you are happy about it too.

What personal qualities should I look for in a Personal Assistant?

You will rely on your PA for more than administrative tasks. They will deal with a lot of personal and confidential information.

That means qualities to look for in a PA include:

  • Trustworthy with the ability to manage sensitive information
  • Reliable and punctual in performing duties
  • Discretion and confidentiality in dealing with personal details
  • Strong time management/organisation skills
  • Ability to work independently and anticipate your household needs
Why should EST10 recruit a PA for me?

We know where to find the best PAs, and know what talent looks like. We also recognise potential–and that’s key in a market like this!

The secret is out that a strong PA is key to highly successful leaders. But with demand for PAs increasing, it can be time-consuming to find, recruit and retain top PAs.

So, what can you do? Trust us to find the perfect PA for you.

Is there a difference between an EA and a PA?

Yes, there is, although there can sometimes be a crossover between roles! Your EA will usually provide support in a business or office administrative capacity with limited (if any) personal support.  Your PA, on the other hand, will mainly work on providing you with that personal administrative support. Not sure if it is an EA or PA you need? Read a little bit more about EA positions or give us a call on 02 9002 0222

What are the typical work hours for a PA?

The hours your PA will work depends entirely on the role and your needs. Generally, a PA might expect to work 8 hours per day between regular business hours (8 am – 6 pm).  If you expect your PA to be on call and work weekends, which is common, then the salary and benefits are reflected at a higher level as well!

Who do you find PAs for?

We can find a PA for anyone! Some of our clients include high net worth individuals (HNW), C-Suite, celebrities, private households, and senior executives.

Does EST10 only recruit Personal Assistant roles in the Sydney CBD?

We recruit for businesses with locations that range from the Sydney CBD to Parramatta, North Sydney, Ryde, Sutherland Shire, Western Sydney and beyond.

You can also call on us to help you find talent in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, New Zealand, and London.
