As EST10’s Founder and Managing Director, Roxanne takes an innovative and fresh approach to business ensuring EST10 is always current, relevant, and leading the way in the employment landscape.

Roxanne began her career working for renowned recruiter Julia Ross. Building on that foundation, Rox then worked across Australia, the UK, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

During this time, her responsibilities ranged from managing large teams and projects to implementing RPO models and helping businesses with IPOs. And today, as a result of all that experience, her clients know that ‘reaching out to Rox and the team at EST10′ is the best way to find incredible staff and receive the best consulting service and advice.

After completing her MBA at the Australian Graduate School of Management, EST10 was launched shortly afterwards. Rox recently released her first book Employable–Seven Attributes to Assure Your Working Future.

Her dream now is to continue to grow EST10, firmly establishing it as the ‘go to’ brand in the Australian market. And in her spare time, she’ll work on her own mini-farm. On her wish list are; donkeys, mules (there is a difference), Clydesdale horses, Maine Coon cats, Shetland pony, Hermann Hares, Highland cows, Reindeer, chickens, ducks, bison (need to check with authorities), fainting goats (it’s a thing), Swans (if it’s ok with the King), Alpacas, llamas, Irish Wolf Hounds, more staffies, Griffon, English Bull Terrier, Welsh Terrier, Giant Eagle (also check if legal), Powerful Owl and Kookaburra (only if can fly freely).

Rachel Nevin

Rachel has an impeccable record for placing high-calibre candidates into exactly the right roles. She loves getting to know people on a deep level, which enables her to pair candidates with clients based on far more than just the job description. Her design experience also brings a layer of creativity to her everyday interactions and work. 

While she’ll always be an Irish-girl at heart, Rachel’s dream is to become an Australian citizen. Although, let’s not share that with her mum! Rachels’ favourite foods are fish & HOT chips from the Italian chippers back home (do not hold the salt and vinegar) and soya linseed bread is her Australian food homage!

Jenny is our Northern Hemisphere consultant, who stays busy managing our London operations. With characteristic EST10 enthusiasm and team spirit, she excels at finding ideal candidates for our busy, time poor clients. Jenny has a knack for sourcing Aussies returning home and is also a keen lateral thinker, who constantly comes up with innovative recruitment solutions that turn her clients into raving fans. Having joined EST10 in 2012 Jenny is very much part of the fabric at EST10. Jenny originally worked in the Sydney office and then moved back to the U.K., but knowing we couldn’t be without her, we made sure to utilise her skills even on the other side of the globe.

An avid runner, Jenny dreams of completing a trail half-marathon, and one day revisiting Australia with her boys. Jenny has a pet guinea pig and loves everything and anything to do with nature and the outdoors.

Ali is Rox’s superstar Executive Assistant. With a background in P.R and events, Ali is the perfect fit for our busy office and Rox! Ali is quick, efficient, and always on the ball, bringing a swan-like approach to the office. Outwardly Ali has a calming influence, but behind the scenes, she never stops! She is a quiet powerhouse to be reckoned with, those whose still water runs deep! Ali is the one with the answers, finger on the pulse and the go-to person in the office. She is the person who has the solutions before we even know there is a problem!

Ali works hand in glove with Rox, taking customer service to the next level. Looking after our clients and candidates are paramount to her. Her genuine care and approach never go unnoticed.  People love dealing with Ali! A strong team player, she knows all our favourite birthday cakes and even puts her hand up to help with recruitment when needed! Ali isn’t afraid of learning something new (always a good thing in our office!) and genuinely loves to help others. When not at work, Ali is partial to long walks and the odd sauna! Ali is kept busy with her energetic young son and two Burmese cats!

Lianne is our high-energy pocket rocket from the U.K! Full of personality, wit, charm and a touch of cheek, Lianne is not afraid to tackle any task, big or small and does so with ease. With a coaching and sports background, is it any wonder she is the consummate team player, always assisting everyone in the EST10 team. Lianne takes pride in going that extra step or ten, ensuring her service levels with clients and candidates are of the highest quality. Being a previous candidate, Lianne knows what it is like to temp and so treats her candidates like gold! Lianne is undoubtedly our superstar consultant and marketing pro. She manages everything seamlessly and is the queen of creativity. Lianne loves further developing her skills, and lucky for her and us, she has found the perfect environment at EST10 to do so!

Little miss sunshine is a staple at Coogee beach, and will never say no to a road trip or an early sunrise. She hopes to set up a permanent home in Australia with a beach view!

Our Gen Z young’un of the team is the go-to admin whiz for everyone! With an optimistic approach to everything she does, she keeps everything fresh and flowing smoothly. Supporting the team with immense care and kindness, she enjoys being the person they can turn to when they’re in a bind or stuck – always ready with a smile. The first point of contact when you ring the office, you will always be welcomed with a bubbly and warm personality.

When she’s not cross-checking information or speaking to candidates – you will find her curled up in her room writing till dawn. A true nerd at heart, she could binge on her favourite anime, research astronomy, or be glued to a Nintendo till the sun comes up. With copious amounts of energy, she survives every day without a coffee and can still manages a gym session after work. Also, a romantic, she enjoys watching the world through rose-tinted glasses. Nim brings all these quirky and delightful characteristics to her role at EST10!

Georgina is our go to in the office for those hard to source, gemstone candidates! If we need them, Georgina has them! With impeccable attention to detail, and a real talent for spotting the invisible ink, Georgina has that rare EST10 ability to match candidates and clients perfectly. This is why we love her! She has a tenacious approach to everything she does and won’t give up until she has succeeded in her mission. Georgina has an infectious laugh, big personality and always has a funny story or two up her sleeve. She can be relied upon to keep office morale high. Georgina has a thirst for knowledge, enjoys learning and pushing herself. One challenge she set for herself was how many Tim Tams can you eat in one day…it was a lot!

When not at work Georgina can be found making the most of every weekend, enjoying picnics on the beach and coastal walks. Georgina is a lover of all things random and spontaneous – we never quite know what her weekend tales will be on a Monday morning! Georgina is a glass half full person and someone who enjoys finding the enjoyment in everything she does. The only thing we have not come to grips with is her penchant for wearing crocs. She even dances in them…the jury is out.

Bachelor of Laws – LLB and Master in Labour Law

Debora is one of our newest team members, bringing with her a wealth of customer service and management experience. She prides herself in striving for excellence in everything she does, leaving no stone unturned. Did we mention her attention to detail is off the Richter scale…she is also our back up proof-reader! With a zest for learning, a never give-up attitude and driving (with just the right mix of stubborn) ambition, Deb is the go-to consultant at EST10 for those hard to fill, left of centre and tricky roles.

Originally from a small town in Brazil, Debora is a country-girl at heart, even bringing her home-made bread to the office. Announcing in her beautiful sing-song Brazilian accent, “I made some sweet bread for you”….the office is empty, phones dangling mid conversation and the kitchen crammed vying for the toaster and butter, Georgina usually pushing to be front of line. With a family of farmers, Debora dreams of living in a self-sufficient, rural property at some point in the future. Who knows, maybe she can help Rox set up her mini-farm, or not so mini, the list of animals is constantly expanding……! For now, when not working on those challenging roles, you will find Debora outside exploring with her teenage daughter or volunteering at the local Cat Rescue organisation.

Daisy likes to be considered the most popular MD at EST10. A blue Staffy, she started her career with us as a graduate in 2015 and has been part of the culture ever since. When she graces us with her presence in the office, her task is to focus on team morale and the occasional bin. Otherwise, you’ll find her napping, eating watermelon and going for walks. 

Daisy’s dream is to chase the Bush Turkeys that venture into her garden. She only wants to play! Promise.

When was EST10 established?

EST10 was established in 2010 by Roxanne Calder. After 20+ years of experience in global recruitment roles, she wanted to offer clients a unique way of recruiting and finding the perfect candidates.

Going beyond simply matching skills on a CV to a job description, EST10 digs deeper. The team matches skills, values, personalities, and dreams to achieve a positive outcome for both our clients and candidates.

Where is EST10’s office?

We’re located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD at Level 10, 66 Hunter Street, Sydney. A short stroll up from Circular Quay, we’re surrounded by the best that Sydney has to offer.

As a team, we like to stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney and enjoy lunch in Hyde Park with Daisy by our sides.

Does EST10 only recruit roles in the Sydney CBD?

No. We recruit roles beyond Sydney’s CBD–in Parramatta, North Sydney, Ryde, Sutherland Shire and Western Sydney. In fact, we have wonderful clients in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, and New Zealand too.

We also recruit London-based Australians looking to return home. Our consultant, Jenny, helps place the very best talent into roles back in Australia before they set flight.
